The End Of North Star Comics

Usually I would write up something of my own on a news story that I've found on another site, but this time I don't think it's news as much as it is a human story that happens to involve comics. That being said I'm going to encourage you to head over to the Union Bulletin to read an article on the closure of the comic book shop called North Star Comics. It's a sad story that in a way shows how delicate of a business comic book shops are, but also just how important they are as well.

Sigh, you know what pisses me off? When my local "comic book retailer" has a super shit selection of indie publishers. I live in LA and you're telling me that the three shops that I live close to chose not to carry Chopper #1 from Asylum Press? I know it came out the a few weeks ago but but don't give a look like I just made it up when I ask about it ya' comic shop owning dick.
