First Look: Severed #7

This cover would be cool, if it was three issues ago.

Take a good look because this will be the only coverage for the final issue of Severed. This book started off in my opinion doing everything right. It didn't fall into all of the usual pitfalls of horror/thriller storytelling and then it completely fucked it up. You can actually follow the progression of the series demise right here on the site. I'm going link crazy for you: Issue #2, Issue #3, Issue #4, Issue #5, Issue #6. Each time I hoped the book would turn it around and it didn't. I'll read this issue for sure, but we're not going to review it. What's the point, we all know how it's going to end with the exception of whatever twist they're going to add to it. Without reading it yet I'm going to guess that Jack becomes the next killer and tattoos teeth on his arm.

You should just review books that you can understand. Obviously, the psychological horror is a concept that you don't fully understand. Stay on the stories with big monsters, it seems more appropriate for you.
