First Look: Glory #23

Don't worry, we'll have a review for it! I know everyone has been shitting their pants over the return of the Extreme line of books and hopefully they don't go defunct this time. It seems like everyone I mention it to all say it was some of their favorite books. Also I'm looking forward to reading something more then the preview for sure and frankly I loved this muscled out butch chick. She'll put your head through a tank or a tank through your head. Either way... you're fucking dead.

The problem: do I spend my money on something that looks so damn good even when it's associated with Liefeld?

The answer: probably, yeah. Well Prophet #22 was awesome... and there's an Eisner winner on this (normally I don't go in for industry award things but the Eisner is most righteous).

I know what you mean! I don't want to give Liefeld any more money... but I just might have to. We'll all get at least six or eight issues out of this before it fails so let's enjoy it.

Haha! Yeah, should be at least 6 issues before Liefeld rocks up and says "screw this Eisner winning guy, I WANT TO WRITE AND DRAW MORE THINGS" then kills it stone-dead halfway through a story arc like 3 issues later because he can't be bothered any more and DC gave him complete creative control of Action Comics.

On the other hand, if the royalties from Extreme keep Liefeld from actually producing any work then maybe it's worth double the cover price.
