The Hawkeye Initiative: Taking The Internet By Storm
Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 8:30AM For those of you that have been ignoring this or just simple haven't seen it yet, the Hawkeye Initiative is a blog/Tumblr account that takes some of the biggest Cheesecake comic covers and replaces the female character with Hawkeye. Why Hawkeye? I haven't a fucking clue other than the fact that the character has been very popular all year long. The point is to show how poorly drawn woman are in comics and yes there are arguments for both sides of this. The point is, when you see some of the Hawkeye covers you can't help but then look at the original in a very different light.

Some like it and find that it's a good way as I said to point out ridiculous poses that female characters are placed in, while others would find it to be a better message if he was still drawn in masculine form to still highlight the sexist nature of the art. While others ran away from the internet. I cannot even begin to tell you about all of the responses I've seen throughout the internet, but for the most part people are at least curious about it. He's some highlights, but feel free to check out the page for yourself.
