First Look: Prophet #21
Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:29AM Everyone is talking about this book! In fact it already sold out on the distribution level meaning that whatever is out there is out there! It also means that you'll probably have to fight some jack ass buying three extra copies to sell them on eBay when everyone starts panicking for the issue. At any rate, I read it and reviewed it so you'll get that later today. In the meantime just enjoy the preview... for some of you to stubborn to buy it in digital this will be your only chance until the second print that's sure to be announced next week.

You can be sure that when Warren Ellis recommends a comic over twitter and his blog that the hype will reach go crazy. It does look good though and I'm glad I got my pre-order in with my LCS.
Incidentally has anyone seen the Liefeld varient cover? It SUCKS. There's going to be some seriously disappointed collectors out there. I was so pleased that my LCS allowed me to specify the Marian Churchland cover in my order.
The funny thing is my comic shop had the normal cover and the variant separated and the Liefeld cover (made him look like 70's Toad from Marvel) was completely untouched. Ed Brubaker said good luck finding the book, but I think he meant good luck finding the cover that doesn't suck.
