Fire Sale: Y The Last Man 99 Cents on Comxiology

Y The Last Man is one of those comics that everyone lists as one of their favorite stories. I never got into the book, because like most Vertigo titles, if you missed it from the beginning you were screwed. Personally, I don't always enjoy having to read a series only in paperback, but that tends to be a phenomenon that happens with Vertigo titles often. For example 100 Bullets and Fables. You'll pay up the nose if you want to read these two titles in single issue format. At any rate, Comixology is having a two day sale in which every issue of Y The Last Man is available for .99 cents. Now I'm not saying you should go drop 50 bucks this weekend and get the entire series, but you may want to spend 6 to 12 bucks like I'm planning on doing. Frankly I just need to see what all the hub bub before I write it off completely out of annoyance for it's never ending praise.
